At Middle Georgia Orthopaedics, your needs are our highest concern. We understand how important it is for you to be seen in a timely manner. For this reason, we make every effort to accommodate appointments immediately upon request. 

Emergencies

Our physicians are on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to handle emergencies.

If you are hurt or have a problem that necessitates speaking to or seeing a physician outside of our normal office hours, please call our office at (478) 953-4563, and the answering service will page the doctor on-call.

If you have an emergency during office hours, contact the office for instructions on how to proceed. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

After-Hours Information

At Middle Georgia Orthopaedics, our doctors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you need to reach one of the Middle Georgia Orthopaedics doctors on weekends or after regular office hours, please feel free to call our main number at (478) 953-4563.

Please note, calls after office hours and on weekends should be reserved only for real emergencies and not for routine questions or medication prescription refills.

Prescriptions & Refills

New prescriptions and refills are only issued during our normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You can request a prescription by calling (478) 953-4563. Middle Georgia Orthopaedics will not refill or prescribe pain medication after business hours. (This policy is dictated by state government policies.)
